Letterpress Handmade Paper Wedding Invitations at Solage

We had such a pleasure working with Tara and Dylan to create custom letterpress handmade paper wedding invitations by Oblation Papers for their special event at the Solage in Calistoga, CA. Their photographer, Mariana Calderon, did an incredible job of capturing the wedding day, and our invitation designers are so excited to share some of their favorite photos. Handmade Paper Wedding Invitations

Tara and Dylan chose white handmade paper by Oblation Papers for their custom wedding invitation suite. Their beautifully textured paper is made from recycled remnants from the garment industry, with a focus on reuse and conservation. The result is a lovely paper with naturally deckled edges that takes on a letterpress impression like a dream. They chose a simple leaf motif as a design element and we had it letterpressed in sweet pea ink at the top center of their main invitation card. For the rest of the invitation wording, we used champagne letterpress ink, which is a lovely taupe tone. In addition to the invitation card, there was also an rsvp card and envelope, welcome party/details card, and a textured green envelope liner. All of the cards were tied together with natural twine for an organic look and feel.

Getting Ready Details

Getting ready photos are one of our favorites because they capture all of the details in the lead up to the big day. Sometimes, the wedding day can fly by and be a big blur, but it’s always nice to get your wedding photo gallery back and see all the captures of the details and the getting ready process. It’s also a great time to get shots of your wedding party with all the bridesmaids and groomsmen before the event gets into full swing.

Picturesque Wedding Views

The Solage, a part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, is located on the outskirts of Calistoga, CA and features tons of outdoor space with beautifully maintained and lush grounds. With views of rolling hills and plenty of assorted green plants and foliage, the perfect backdrop for wedding photos exists here. Holding the wedding ceremony outdoors here is a great option to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and get some fresh air at the same time.

Wedding Reception Details

After the wedding ceremony, it’s time for the reception! Dinner and dancing followed the nuptials, and we adore the fabulous floral installation with holographic disco balls to set the party vibes. To keep the wedding stationery cohesive, we designed custom wedding dinner menu cards to match the aesthetic of Tara and Dylan’s wedding invitations. Table number cards were also printed for guests to easily identify which table they were seated at. Such a beautiful wedding – congratulations to Tara and Dylan!
