New Luxury Wedding Invitations by Marsupial Papers

As invitation designers in San Francisco, we love having a great collection of classic and timeless invitation designs. We also keep up with the latest trends, and continue to grow our wedding invitation options to offer modern and contemporary styles along with the best printing methods. The new luxury wedding invitation designs by our friends at Marsupial Papers are now available to customize at our brick and mortar stationery store! Based in the Pacific Northwest, Marsupial’s invitation styles are available in a wide range of colors and printing options, including thermography, letterpress, embossing, and foil. We’re showcasing some of our favorite designs below.

Black and White Wedding Invitation Suite

Diana & David Wedding Invitation Suite

There are so many gorgeous elements to the Diana & David wedding invitation suite – it’s truly difficult to figure out where to start. All of the cards in the suite feature black ink printing. The main wedding invitation card is 5″ x 7″ cotton card stock, and has the couples’ names and a simple line border blind embossed. On the details card, the title “The Details” is also blind embossed. Additionally, guests are invited to a welcome party the night before – the information was provided on a smaller square insert card, and included a custom venue illustration for a nice touch. A crisp vellum pocket holds all of the pieces together, and is sealed with a monogrammed black wax seal. Last, but not least, is the black foil on black leaf pattern envelope liner that truly ties everything together. This modern wedding invitation design is perfect for a black tie event.

Moody Terracotta Wedding Invitation Suite

Nahla & Robert Wedding Invitation Suite

It can be difficult to find the right shade of terracotta for paper, but Marsupial Papers understood the assignment. Paired with moody and tonal hues of sequoia and beach, this versatile wedding invitation suite can perfectly set the tone for any natural setting. Luxe letterpress printing is utilized on all of the cards to yield a nice impression, and we are obsessed with the modern monogram on the envelope liner. This wedding stationery is perfect for a Bainbridge Island wedding, or even for a destination wedding in Mexico.

Minimalist, Modern, and Neutral Wedding Invitation Suite

Jamie & Benjamin Wedding Invitation Suite

Recently, we have been seeing more use of negative space in minimalist wedding invitation styles. The Jamie & Benjamin wedding invitation suite is a great example of this, with all of the text being placed towards the bottom left corner on all the stationery cards. With varying shades of white, bone, eucalyptus, and terracotta, this color palette is modern meets nature, and is perfect for a contemporary wedding. A sheer vellum sleeve printed with a botanical pattern and adorned with a eucalyptus wax seal perfectly holds all of the cards together in one place. Our favorite elements are present on the main invitation card: the couples’ names blind debossed along the left margin, and their interlocking initials placed in a stunning monogram and foil stamped in gold.

Tropical Wedding Invitation Suite

Marisa & Benjamin Wedding Invitation Suite

Destination weddings have become increasingly popular, especially after the pandemic. With both events and travel being out of the question for a while, many couples decided to combine their weddings with a vacation to make it a truly special event for their loved ones. There are so many factors that make this invitation design so special: the die cut invitation card, watercolor tropical floral elements, dark ivy card stock for a contrasting accent, and lovely letterpress for a textural impact. The resulting stationery suite is perfect for a wedding in a tropical paradise, near or far.

Slate Blue Formal Wedding Invitation Suite

Noor & Marachi Wedding Invitation Suite

Earlier this year, we wrote about the dusty blue (also sometimes called slate blue, depending who you ask) wedding invitation trend, and it is clearly here to stay! Read our blog on dusty blue wedding invitations inspiration here, and check out Madison & Jackson’s Half Moon Bay wedding that also featured this striking shade of slate blue. From bridesmaids’ dresses to glassware, this dreamy blue color has been making its way through the wedding scene. The delicate border in Noor & Malachi’s wedding invitation card is both blind embossed and foil stamped in gold, yielding both a raised and pressed effect along the edges. The matching slate blue letterpress with a traditional font style elevates the entire stationery suite. We also adore the oval die cut wedding details card, and the beautiful floral painting in the envelope liner.
