Fairytale Wedding at Olympia’s Valley Estate in Petaluma, CA

When we first started working with Isa & Andrew in 2022, originally they were to be married at The Gardens at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek, California. Their illustrator friend helped design a beautiful wedding invitation suite, featuring butterflies, florals, and an elegant take on the traditional Chinese double happiness symbol. Isa & Andrew reached out to the invitation designers at Hyegraph for assistance with the printing, and we utilized luxuriously thick cotton stock with accents of vellum and a custom wax seal stamper to top it all off. Unfortunately, just over a month before the wedding was to be held, their original venue had a mishap and they had to scramble to find a new venue. Luckily, they were able to find Olympia’s Valley Estate in Petaluma, California, and their dream wedding vision easily transferred over to the new beautiful venue for all of their guests to enjoy.

With a dream team of wedding vendors, anything is possible. Leah from Two Perfect Events helped Isa & Andrew design and plan such an incredible event that was representative of them, and Hey Honey Photography captured the special day beautifully. All The Details: Custom Fairytale Wedding Invitations

When Isa first sent over the draft files for her wedding invitation design vision, we were in awe. The custom illustration and the colors were absolutely stunning, and we were incredibly excited to put her digital artwork into print on physical paper. She came in for her free design consultation, and we decided to use double-thick Crane’s 100% cotton lettra, which has a fantastic texture and lends itself beautifully to painted designs. To finish off the invitation, we created a sheer vellum gatefold wrap, which was then sealed with a custom double happiness wax seal stamper with vellum wax and dried florals. The finished product speaks for itself and sets the tone perfectly for the wedding to come.

Olympia’s Valley Estate is a family-owned and operated farmstead located in Petaluma, California, and is a lovely wedding venue offering tranquil landscapes and rolling hills. They pride themselves in maintaining the property to a meticulous standard and have a focus on locally sourced food – truly a farm-to-table experience. Featuring lush foliage, a fabulous barn that seats up to 190 for dinner, and even a pond, there are endless options to help make your event a truly unforgettable one.

Wedding Reception at Olympia’s Valley Estate in Petaluma, California

Isa & Andrew’s wedding reception was a beautiful culmination of all their planning, and we love how they incorporated Chinese, Indonesian, and Vietnamese details to represent their cultural heritage. The string lights inside the barn created a glowy and magical effect as guests dined on custom menus printed by us and catered by S + S Gastro Grub. Dessert was last, but definitely not least, as they featured Indonesian sweet treats by NUSA, and live-churned ice cream from Smitten! Before leaving, guests had the opportunity to leave a note to the bride and groom via an audio guest book with a rotary dial phone – a new trend we have been seeing lately.
