Recent Customer Projects: Wedding at the Log Cabin at The Presidio

We love a classic San Francisco wedding, especially when Karl the fog makes an appearance. Jill and Ryan were married at the Log Cabin at The Presidio in August of 2021, and they made the entire weekend such a special event for their friends and families. We worked closely with Downey Street Events to create unique wedding stationery that perfectly encompassed them as a couple and set the tone for their wedding weekend. Cassie Valente captured all of the beautiful moments.

Log Cabin at The Presidio San Francisco Wedding Venue

Made from local Monterey cypress, the Log Cabin at The Presidio is in a fantastic location with stunning San Francisco views. Although the fog rolled in and obscured the sight, it added a mysterious allure that made for great photos.

Custom Painted Wedding Invitations

There were so many special elements to Jill & Ryan’s wedding invitations. We printed their stationery using full color digital printing on white textured card stock that is similar to watercolor paper. Jill’s dad, Vince, painted the south-facing view of Bernal Heights – Jill & Ryan’s San Francisco neighborhood – that is shown along the bottom of the main invitation card. Golden poppies, California’s state flower, adorned the corners of the events card. Information regarding the welcome party, scavenger hunt, Sunday brunch, and their wedding website were also included on this card. The California Dogface stamps were used as a nod to Ryan’s late mother. We printed their guest addresses using our digital calligraphy and envelope addressing, and also handled the stuffing, sealing, stamping, and mailing for them.

Welcome Sign, Reserved Wedding Ceremony Sign, Seating Chart, and Personalized Wedding Menus

For the day of wedding stationery, we kept the font styles consistent with their wedding invitation suite, but decided to switch up the colors to burgundy and navy to tie in with their wedding flowers by Sharla Flock. We repurposed the Bernal Heights painting to use for the framed welcome sign. For immediate family members, personalized cards with their names were printed and tied onto the wedding ceremony chairs to reserve their seat. Before entering the reception, guests were able to view the seating chart to find their name and assigned table. Once at the table, personalized wedding menu cards with each guest’s name on them indicated their assigned seats.

Wedding Reception Stationery

Having the appropriate stationery for your wedding reception is also very important. It communicates information to your guests and is another opportunity for you to keep a cohesive design aesthetic. We created signs for Jill & Ryan’s bar menu and signature cocktails to make it easy for guests to know what was available at the bar. Additionally, their dessert bar also featured a custom dessert menu sign that labeled what each dessert was. It was truly our pleasure to be a part of Jill & Ryan’s wedding day. Congratulations, again!

We are so honored to work with all of our wonderful couples in the San Francisco Bay Area and also nationwide, such as Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Beverly Hills, New York, Boston, Palo Alto, San Jose, Woodside, Houston, Dallas, Washington, D.C., and more.
