Classic 50th Anniversary Invitation Cards from Checkerboard Unveiled in Gold & Ivory by Hyegraph San Francisco

Our client came in very excited to throw a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party for her parents. She looked all over the internet and felt most comfortable coming in to see us so we could design these special cards together. Here is the design we came up with together: A classic gold and ivory or ecru invitation with the couple’s photo inserted. The top of the card has the couple’s marriage dates printed in black ink as well as the body of the invitation text also in black. The design elements as well as the card backing are in gold. All the papers and design tools are from on one of our favorite invitation companies: Checkerboard.

The result is a sophisticated, graceful, classic, custom design with combination wording. This cheerful couple are sure to have been joyous on their celebration day enjoying their milestone with those closest to them.

Bella Wedding Invitation by Arabella Design from K Paper at Hyegraph

Our bridal couple, Corinne & Douglas, chose this luxurious Bella gold and ivory invitation for their upcoming August Wedding in Berkeley, California. The Bella line is Arabella’s more affordable luxury line from K Paper. Our couple chose the Moroccan pattern for the invitation design as well as for the back of the card wallpaper. The edge of the invite is scalloped for an added sense of chickness. The invitation itself is matte ivory with metallic gold printing.

Invitation Details:

Our couple’s reception and ceremony are in the same place, therefore, they did not need to have an additional reception card, instead they added the phrase, “…Reception immediately following ceremony…” to the bottom of the main invitation. Corrine & Douglas also added their wedding website to the main invite, thereby referring guests for hotel, dining and other wedding related details.

Envelope Details:

The invitation envelope is in matching ivory and metallic gold moroccon pattern printed on the envelope edge and design added to the return address on the flap. The envelope lining is in a burnt orange paper lining. The couple’s return address is printed on the envelope flap in gold metallic ink.

Calligraphy Details:

Jacques also addressed the wedding envelopes with Hyegraph Digital Calligraphy in the couple’s favorite font style.

Golden Gate Bridge Place Cards at Hyegraph Embarcadero, Financial District San Francisco

We used Hyegraph Digital Calligraphy to print these Golden Gate Bridge place cards for Marine’s Memorial Club & Hotel. Each card is in a different colored ink: Green, Gold, Red and Blue. Jacques printed the names and table names with digital calligraphy. He also uses Digital Calligraphy to print Envelope Addressing, Menu Cards, Programs and Invitations.

The examples above were provided by the Marines’ Memorial Club and Hotel for an upcoming event. San Francisco Spinsters “Marrakech” Annual Ball Invitations in Ikat Damask Design by Hyegraph

Marrakech is one of the three major cities “…in the northwest African nation of Morocco.” (Wikipedia) It lies in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, a few hours from the Sahara Dessert. “Marrakech” in Amazigh means “Land of God”. In this city that’s named after God, it’s streets are covered in colorful “spice markets”, traditional hand-woven “carpets”, ancient mosaic tiles, walls of textiles and history.  The “Ikat Damask” design is inspired by Moroccan culture and art and adorns the champagne colored shimmer stationery of our Carlson-Craft Exclusive Collection for our client, San Francisco Spinsters “Marrakech” inspired Ball Invitation.

The above inspirations for a Moroccan theme come from the streets of Morocco, the colorful carpets in the bottom left hand corner, the Moroccan blue bead curtain in the upper left hand corner, the gold & purple luxe Moroccan fabric in the upper right hand corner, Hillary Clinton & Princess Lalla Meryem of Morocco wearing the Moroccan Caftan in gold and ivory. In the center is our Ikat Damask Invitation by Carlson Craft Exclusive Collection in champagne shimmer, latte, mocha and navy inks with the Spinsters’ logo imprinted on the top of the invite.

Jacques also worked on the SF Spinsters’ Envelope Addressing for their upcoming Annual Ball taking place at The Fairmont San Francisco.

Armenian Wedding Invitations for Shant & Sylva’s Armenian Wedding in San Francisco, California

Shant & Sylva chose this stunning Carlson Craft Pocket Style Wedding Invitation from Hyegraph for their July 2013 Wedding taking place in San Francisco, California. We customized the invitation tab with the couple’s initials and names in “marina” and “gold” ink. The couple chose a stunning “marina” colored jacket for their invitations and detailed the invite with matching marina and complementary “ecru” and “gold” colors. This attractive pocket invitation suite also comes in an Armenian invitation insert printed in gold ink with Armenian fonts. In addition to the English & Armenian invitation there are also three inserts including the Information Card: stating the couple’s website; the Celebration Card: asking the guests to join them at the Reception Site; and an Rrsvp Card; asking guests to reply to the invitation.

Shant & Sylva’s invitation font style is “Artistic” for the main text and “Trajan” font style for their names on the main invitation. The printing style on the invitation is flat printing. Our Armenian-American couple wanted to have a traditional Armenian Wedding in San Francisco. Hence they opted to have their wedding ceremony at a local Armenian Church, their wedding reception at the Armenian Church Hall, gourmet Armenian style cuisine and of course Armenian wording to accompany the English wording on their invitations resulting in a traditional yet modern Armenian wedding. Lori & Armen’s Armenian Wedding Invitation in Armenian & English by Hyegraph San Francisco

Lori & Armen are both San Franciscans with Armenian descent. They both grew up in the Bay Area and they both attended the local Armenian Christian School, KZV, in San Francisco. That’s where they met and in later years got together romantically. Lori & Amen are a young, sophisticated dashing couple. When they came in to Hyegraph to choose their custom wedding stationery, we were more then happy to work with them.

Lori & Armen were very adamant about including Armenian text in their invitations since their Armenian traditions were such a big part of their identity. We worked with them to create a very sophisticated invitation incorporating the Armenian Text and an Armenian Monogram in part created by their family member. As you can see the ancient Armenian Text, the “A” for Armen and the “L” for Lori, intertwined in the center of the silver and black two layer, pocket invite from our Checkerboard stationery brand.

Pocket Wedding Invitations

There is a surprise element to this invitation on the back. From the front you wouldn’t know this is a “pocket invitation“, however, when you flip to the back, there is very distinguished pocket where the reception, response and accommodation card are hidden but neatly present for their guests. This example of a pocket wedding invitation illustrates a neat and formal look that will impress guests.

Armenian & English Wedding Text with Custom Monogram

The silver and black color scheme of Lori & Armen’s Dual-Language Wedding Invitation create a rich, formal appeal and suite the rest of their wedding theme. This Checkerboard design invitation with custom Armenian monogram is in two layers, silver layer on top of black backing; the wedding invitation envelope has a shimmer, charcoal lining, encased in a extra thick envelope with Geneva Flap. The lettering for both the Armenian and the English text is in black thermography. The font style for the English wording is “Trajan” for the names and “Burgus” for the body of the invitation.

Response Card & Reception Card

The matching Response and Reception cards are on silver shimmer card stock with black ink thermography. The Response card includes Entree Choice icons: cow for beef, fish for seafood and a carrot for vegetarian.

Graduation Scroll Invitations from Charu at Hyegraph

Recently we had a client find us from Mission, Texas who was looking for scroll invitations for her son’s graduation party. After picking out the colors and providing us with the text, we were able to process her order. She chose the blue scroll invitation with the silver font and matching blue box with white ribbon and blue envelope. Our client was so excited for her son and was thrilled to create these invitations with us to announce his graduation and party!

Scroll invitations are very different from our other invitations: they are the only ones you roll and then tie and put inside a box! They are a fun way to send out invitations. The above example is a graduation invitation, however, we have done scrolls for save the dates, wedding invitations and announcements.
